On April 12-15, 2023, a Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be in Damascus, Virginia with the Virginia Creeper Trail Conservancy, Town of Damascus, and Appalachian Trail Conservancy to deliver Leave No Trace education to the community and partner on local stewardship projects.

Friday, April 14 | Appalachian Trail Distillery
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.: Happy Hour with Leave No Trace Team

Saturday, April 15 | Damascus Trail Center and Virginia Creeper Trail
8 a.m. – noon: Stewardship project on Virginia Creeper Trail and Appalachian Trail
1 – 2 p.m.: Leave No Trace: Behind the Scenes of Food on the Trail
4 – 5 p.m.: Leave No Trace: Responsible Campfires and S’mores

The ATC is a proud partner of Leave No Trace, the Virginia Creeper Trail Conservancy, and the town of Damascus as part of the Leave No Trace Spotlight Program. The A.T. Community of Damascus, Virginia presents a great opportunity for Trail advocates to come together as a community and solve challenges facing the landscape. Consider attending one of the many Spotlight stewardship projects or educational programs at the ATC’s Damascus Trail Center.
